Bishopsrock Properties has been granted planning permission for an apartment scheme in Warrington.
The scheme will see the demolition of an existing public convenience building on the corner of Bluecoat Street and Winwick Road, to make way for a three storey, six unit apartment block with car parking.
The site lies in an urban area of Warrington, on the A59, one of the main routes into the town centre. The unsightly, disused building has been earmarked for demolition for many years and will open up a key gateway site.
The apartments will be available for private rent and will be the latest in a growing number of similar schemes in the town. Smith & Love acted as planning agent on the application.
Smith & Love Director, Deborah Smith, said “We are delighted that we have been able to secure viable residential permission for Bishoprock Properties. The scheme will be a high-quality addition to the A59 corridor which is an important gateway to Warrington town centre, from the M62.
